Lords of the Highway from Cleveland, Ohio have been tearin' up asphalt since 1990, bringing you hillbilly punk rock that knocks ya flat, runs ya over, and doesn't look back.
The Lords have hauled along the highway from NYC's CBGB's to honky tonk dives in the hills, playing with the likes of Reverend Horton Heat, Southern Culture on the Skids, Hank III, Th' Legendary Shack Shakers, Dick Dale, Nekromantix, Tiger Army, El Vez, Hasil Adkins, Lee Rocker, Ray Condo, and many others - not to mention countless of kick ass punk bands.
They've played events including Daytona's Bike Week, and are regulars at the biggest baddest party in this hemisphere, Heavy Rebel Weekender in Winston-Salem, NC.
The Lords are also no strangers to the big & little screens, having appeared in the Campbell Brothers motion picture ‘The Red Skulls’(2006) as well as being contestants on the TV show ‘The Next Great American Band’. On the show, The Lords cut the mustard at the LA. tryouts only to be given the boot by Sheila E. & Goo Goo Dolls front man John Rzeznik. Yes, Sheila E. (who everyone knows is a true a rock connoisseur) You also can find the Lords music as soundtracks for 6 other independent films, and the band also has a DVD of their music videos,

ROCKING THE FUTURE, PRESERVING THE PAST
Classic and Southern Rock is in our souls, as we bring to the stage a great mix of covers and originals heavily influenced in Blues Rock, Southern Rock, early 80's Hair Bands, (i.e. Allman Brothers, ZZ Top, Fleetwood Mac, early (DLR) Van Halen, Doobie Brothers) and originals that are a great blend of all, giving them a "Fresh Take on an Old Sound"!

Lead Singer, Blake Brouse, has developed powerful, gritty, bluesy Vocals that are well suited for the Southern/Classic Rock/Blues Rock style Walking In Circles is known for. His ability to also engage the audience with humor and wit make for an unforgettable show! Blake has recently taken up the Harmonica, quickly learning to add another dimension to WIC's music!

Nicole Neiman is WIC's second Vocalist, lending her beautiful  Harmony and Lead vocals in Full Band and Acoustic Group, and her powerful vocals complement the Blues/Rock style of the band extremely well!!

The Showstopper would be Jake Gray on lead Guitar, who’s influence of George Lynch, Nuno Bettancourt, Eddie Van Halen and even Brad Paisley on several originals, is unmistakable, and Jake never fails to astonish the audience with the maturity of his playing compared to his age, especially maneuvering through the solo "Fiddle" sections of the crowd favorite cover of Charlie Daniel’s Band’s “The Devil Went Down To Georgia”!

Cory Williams on Bass, lays down the perfect patterns that masterfully complement the Southern Rock/Blues style! A Jack-Of-All-Trades, Cory excels at the Bass, and also Guitar, Drums, Keys and Vocals...a "Utility Player" every band wishes they had!

Drummer Thomas Newbauer, brings an aggressive, hard rocking style influenced by the great 70's Rock Bands which translates perfectly into Walking In Circles' Southern/Blues Rock style!  You can hear the influences of Led Zeppelin, Steve Miller Band,  older Doobie Brothers, and more, bringing the heartbeat of that era into WIC's sound!

As Walking In Circles continues to grow and develop their songwriting, style, and sound, through their original music and the covers they choose to do, one thing that can be taken away is the obvious talent of the band cannot be disputed... WIC is the total package.
